Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Thursday
Good morning. Lorraine (my sister and best friend) and I would like to wish all our American Neighbors a Happy Thanksgiving, and everyone everywhere a wonderful Thursday! I am writing to you from the Atlantic Huron. We celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving in October; however, I made a Turkey dinner on Sunday to keep with the theme of this festive Thanksgiving meal. I have a new recipe to use some of your leftovers and will share it with you on Sunday. (If the internet allows, if not, you will see it on Monday.) I served it to the crew yesterday, and it got great reviews.
I wish you a wonderful day, and if you are traveling, drive safely. See you Sunday.
We have been sitting at anchor since the 25th. It did not feel like we were sitting at anchor. At times, it felt like we were sailing on the ocean in a storm. I will share more details on Sunday.
I will share my new recipe, inspired by the Turkey dinner I made on Sunday. It got rave reviews and it is shareworthy. I wrote it on the menu board as Stuffed butternut squash served with gravy or maple syrup and cranberry sauce.
Lorraine has mailed out all the calendars and books to date. They are on their way to you. She told me she brought them to our local post office in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, in groups of 50 so as not to overwhelm the agent. When I look at the barcode labels, I am proud of Lorraine for all the paperwork and for learning the new system of mailing them out. When she sent me the photo, she pointed out that I should look behind the agent to see our pile. She said it took 90 minutes. We have a couple of dozen Ship to Shore Chef 2026 porthole calendars left if anyone is interested. Just click on the following Link. Books are also available and make a great Christmas gift.

Lorraine and I wish everyone a Happy American Thanksgiving and a Happy Thursday. This photo was taken in 2023 on one of our walks in our hometown of Mont Tremblant. I am often on the ship for our Canadian Thanksgiving, but the last few times I was at home. I have so much to be thankful for, at the top of the List is Lorraine, my sister and best friend!
